so i really want to lucid dream i have tried it last night it hardly worked it was so blurry and it was not what i wanted.... i really want to particepate in mortal kombat and fight goro since i cant get hurt in my dreams but i dont know how to get there! peaople say all the time you always dream but i dont see it at night i just close my eyes and when i open them its morning! what the heak! please help!

My Roommate Wants to get a Dog?

So, my roommate and I are 2 single guys living in an apartment in the city. My roommate wants to get a dog and I am not sure this is a good idea. My roommate is flat broke all the time; he’s even borrowing rent money from me every month until the middle of the month. I had a serious talk with him about finding more income so he can start paying his share of the rent ON TIME. Now he wants “us” to get a 10-month-old puppy. Personally, I love pets a lot, but I am a very busy young man (working full time and part-time grad student) at this point in my life and I can’t afford the time, responsibility and costs that come with taking care of a dog. A dog would have to be my roommate’s sole responsibility, and I just don’t see that happening since he can hardly pull his own weight even now. How is he going to pay for its food or its vet bills? How will he pay me or the apartment back if the dog tears up my furniture or the apartment carpeting? I predict he's going to be borrowing money from me to pay for these expenses and asking me to help out with the dog when I'm pressed for time already as it is. I hate to have to sound like a bad person and tell him we can’t have a dog. I’m not an animal-hater, in fact, I’d like a dog if I had more time on my hands to take care of one, but I work every day and go to school/meetings at night. I don’t know, am I wrong? Am I a bad person if I flat out tell my roommate that he cannot have a dog?

Horse just turned up lame?

Sorry to say, but if you want your horse to have the best care possible than you should have a professional look at it. A horse’s ability to walk is its lively hood and I wouldn't take my chances. I have 3 horses and anytime something happens that I can't explain or fix I call my vet. I love my horses to death and I would never ask for advice on Yahoo Answers in fear of it being wrong. If your horse does go lame, let it be free on your farm or grounds to live out a long peaceful life. I wouldn't jump to conclusions though, like i said, seek some medical help from someone who knows what they are talking about. Don't rely on someone from this site.

Did anyone else's toddler change once they started PreSchool?

My daughter started preschool about a week and a half ago. She is 15 months. Ever since she started, she has gotten an attitude. She isn't as sweet as she used to be at all. She doesn't want to get dressed, she doesn't want to take a bath, she won't sit still for a book, she's been whining about everything! All of these things used to make her happy and we had fun doing them. Now she won't hardly let me out of her sight and she even wakes up in a bad mood. I'm starting to wonder if there is a correlation between preschool and this attitude. Maybe she is picking up bad habits? Did anyone else have experience with this change, or am I just headed a little early into the terrible twos!?

I've been friends with this guy for about 10 years now and we are turning our friendship into a relationship. Not all negative. I stopped reading before the end, because I had lost interest. The characters are difficult to empathise with, partly because at least one of them should have been developed a little before being flung into action, and partly because you are describing a situation that few people will have been in. The large number of short sentences is also monotonous and a bit breathless. BUT, I can't help thinking that your style would be much better suited to a film script, which could be highly successful, than to a novel.

Help with heifer calf names please?

Why is my hamster lethargic?

I just got my hamster Moo and so far, all he's been doing is sleeping in his cage. Having an unusual period?

My period usually lasts 4-5 days and usually starts out heavy.My cycles are usually between 23-27 days.This time for some reason i spotted on the 23rd after my husband and i had intercourse.I thought it brought on my period,but it stopped bleeding after a couple of drops.On the 28th i only had some pink discharge and only a little as well.on the 29th it was a little more but still very little and hardly any blood.I can't remember having a period like this in the past couple of years.I feel kinda strange overall.I took a pregnancy test a couple of days ago which came out negative though. Why do my Tama Iron Cobras make me too tired?

I don't know what it is about these pedals, but I get tired SO quickly from using them. My legs just die. I know it's not ALL me because my friend has cheap $100 Ludwig pedals and I can play those just fine. Faster too. My bass is tuned really tightly, I use the normal felt IC beaters, and the springs on the pedals are extremely loose. Lightening Dye Darkened Hair?

I dyed my dark blonde/light brown hair to a medium dark brown about a month ago with a packet semi permanent dye thats supposed to wash out in 20-30 washes (I think... But we went through a rough patch broke up for two days, but then were back together. She doesnt know yet, and I keep trying to tell her but she never gives me the time of day. But because I sleep in, She thinks I sneak out as soon as she goes to bed to see him, but i don't and even if i did? She has absolutely no proof. Also, his parents wont allow him to get his license quite yet. But now heres the problem, He's 18 and I'm 16, so he could get in alot of trouble, but we are very very careful, as in theres pretty much absolutely no touching, so he won't be permanetly labeled as a sex offender and what not. But my mom snuck my phone, and went through my messages. The only thing in there is him waking me up with a phone call like he does every morning, and reminding me to eat throughout the day because he actually pays attention to my eating disorder. So now, she is completely freaking out, and shes threatening to call the police about him, when he has done absolutely nothing wrong. He has the same family problems that I do, so he can get a little emotional, but he never harms me, he never does, he doesn't even yell at me, ever. We have fought only those few times when we broke up for two days, and he has also given me a promise ring. He wasn't able to graduate with the rest of his class this year, because he was going back and forth from illinois and michigan, so he had to make up credits, but hes doing that through online school, while working, helping his mom pay off the house, and trying to find an apartment. But my mum doesn't accept like him simply because she scares him, and will hardly hold a conversation with him, then yells that he won't talk to her, and she notices him avoiding her, but he doesn't he is extremely respectful, and the rest of my family loves him. What can he do, or say, to make her at least accept him? Wrong hair color. what can i do? need couple of shades lighter.?

Today I darkened my hair. it was supposed to be just a few shades darker but it came out REALLY dark. I dont like it, i wanted it just a bit more darker, not like this. I tried washing it with soda and lemon juice, head and shoulders shampoo but it didnt work. Its a semi-permanent color. Its supposed to last for 6-8 weeks, but i know that even after that my hair wouldnt be the color it previously was. I would like to lighten my hair just a few shades. Am i really pregnant?

Ok, well I have posted several questions about this topic already...but i've had new symptoms come up! Well, as i've said before i've been on the birth control pill since March...I accidentally forgot to take my pill a few weekends ago, and had sexual intercourse with my boyfriend of 2 years. For the past 2 weeks, I can hardly eat(trust me, i'm a big woman...so when I eat, I eat(usually)!), i'm very moody, I get a sick feeling(upset stomach) in the mornings and evening times, i've also been having some discharge, could these be signs of pregncany? One of my rabbits has suddenly started bullying and become agressive to his female bonded partner!?

I originally had my little girl bunny for two years and then rehomed a 'fixed' boy bunny for companionship. They bonded instantly and up till recently hardly ever sat apart and continuously licked and groomed eachother. They've been bonded for almost a year now, however recently my boy bunny has started growling and not letting my girl rabbit get to food. They've been sitting apart for the past two weeks and I'm worried that she isn't getting enough food. I try and sneak her treats but he always runs over and chases her away to get the food. He never did that before! They both went to the vets recently and all was fine, although they were still 'in love' then. Has anyone else experienced this? Both bunnies have been fixed for years, have a large run and hutch and are never shut away and contained in a small area. :( :(

Blond hair, but dark eyebrows?

when i was younger my hair was bleach blond, however when i got older it darkened as did my eyebrows. Now my hair is still blond pretty much dirty to dark blond however it gets lighter in the summer and it has some really light blond highlights (some are natural some were highlighted because i had a sun in disaster). Although my eyebrows are pretty dark, like a brown color. I feel like this is weird, like they should be lighter, any thoughts?

What is wrong with my son?

My five year old son came down with a fever Saturday morning. He has cold symptoms, Diarrhea, and no appetite. I took him to the Doctor on Monday, his temp was around 101-102 she said it was just a virus and plenty of rest and liquids would get rid of it. Its Wednesday night and he still has a fever and all the above symptoms. He sleeps most of the day and drinks lots, but he doesnt seem to be getting any better, worse maybe. He is cranky and miserable. I have hardly left the house all week, Im starting to go crazy. Should I take him back to the doctor or just wait it out?

Is my step mum jealous of me?

i have been living with my dad and step mum for around a year now after moving out of my mums house, at first everything was great i was treated well spoke to nicely but it didn't really last for long, as she had a son herself from a different relationship and my half sister which was with my dad, i started to notice that she was always buying her son and daughter new things and leaving me out and that i would hardly get spoken to as much as the others, after a while it was getting so upsetting my girlfriend sent my dad a message explaining how i felt, he then shown my step mum and we all have a chat and it seemed all right again for about 2 weeks and this time it really got worse, when my dad was at work i would somehow always be doing something wrong like not dusting my room 1 day or getting up a bit late as i had just finished school, so she would ring my dad up so he would have a word with me. it happened so many times it was horrible and the arguments they kept having were getting worse and becoming more often, my dad slowly got closer too me and told me what they were about.. as i was getting a car at the time my dad bought me some new alloys and she went in such a strop because he had bought me something and not her.. so she went out and bought a new TV for the kitchen (pathetic i know) as the days went on afterwards she would hardly talk to me.. and walk out the room if i walked in it.. it was so like she didn't want me there but i wasn't going to do anything just then so i stayed quite. And also before my dad met her she lived in a run down council house but now shes got 2 houses nice cars lovely furniture and she turns into a complete spoilt cow.. i hardly ask for anything unless i really need it but its all too weird i cant understand why she cant be normal and like me i would do anything to help her or help anyone i just wish she was a bit nicer to me and my dad.

Yes, it is possible. My hair used to be blonde, and then it turned REALLY dark (and mean really) dark brown, but now it is blondish again. It is just because your hair is starting to grow and, well, its just changing colour. i am not sure why it changes colour, but it does. so, yes, that is possible. hope i helped :)

What to do with your annoying brother-in-law?

There is only one problem in my happy relationship with my partner - its his younger brother. He is 31 and still lives with his dad (they lost their mom 2 years ago), never had a separate, grown-up life - his serious partners moved in with the family, together with his parents. My bf however, was absolute independent from the age of 18, that's one thing why he became my man I believe. But Little Brother (LB) always been mommy's little boy, their mum spoiled him very much... and now that she's gone of course he became vulnerable all of a sudden, and on the top of that last year his gf left him. My bf took full responsibility of him afterwards, and thats when I had to experience LB's character: he is an intellectual guy, really smart (wanna-be lawyer), but his personality is just unbearable. Extremely selfish, material, aggressive, and never realize if he is disturbing us with his presence. The last few weeks there was hardly any days when he didn't come over - you know he just pops in for "5 mins", then he stucks in our flat for hours, talking and talking and still talking. Me and my bf are both really calm and never talk too much - we love quiet and harmony when we are home, I kinda got used to it, so constant talking (and complaining about government, celebrities, basically about everything) is getting on my nerves... but my bf apparently loves him so much that he wouldn't tell him off, would do everything in his favour (maybe still cause of their mum's death? don't know), even if he might know that I would rather be only with him sometimes (only 1 or 2 evenings a week without friends or relatives, is it that much?). I cannot tell all this to my bf, because I don't wanna make him feel that he has to choose between two people he loves so much... I am dreading that he would hate me if I ever tell him all the offences and annoying things LB doing to me all the time. HOME DYE QUESTION USING ION (Thanks!!!)?

Alright, so I am dying my hair black in a few days using ion from sally's. I have a bit of mixing for this and want advice. I plan on using jet black which has a violet undertone and mixing it with dark golden brown obviously which has a gold undertone in a 1 to 1 ratio in order to create a soft, neutral-based brown-black. Now for the red tones already in my hair, I plan on using two packets of Ardell red/gold corrector in my dye mix. Oh, I also plan on using a 10 volume developer (3% hydrogen peroxide) because all I am doing is darkening my hair. Is there any huge error I am making that I'm not seeing that is gonna blow up in my face? I know you are allowed to mix ion colors together, so that's not a problem. Thanks a lot. :)

Lightened Lips HELP!!!!!!!!?

Okay i'm black and about 3 weeks ago i used the new Ambi Skin Care Essentials Gentle Cleanser and i left it on my face overnight and the next day i noticed that it had lightened the thin line on my above upper lip below the philtrum now its like 2 shades brighter than my lips, please is there any way i can get it back to its normal color. I've been smearing a small amount of petroleum jelly on that line only because i heard it darken lips if used over a long period. but seriously i don't wanna lighten my whole lips i just want to bring that line back to its original shade. How do you use fake tan on the face?

I am new to fake tanning and am going to a beach themed party quite soon. I recently bought a bottle of st moriz fake tan mousse which I have already tried on my legs (and it works just fine). However I've read about darkening pores and spot break outs on the face, and I'm not sure whether it's worth doing the fake tan on my body up to my neckline, then using darker foundation on my face. Or... if I should just use the fake tan on my face with adding a moisturiser. I know you can get special facial fake tan creams, but I as I am a poor student trying to save (st moriz was pretty cheap) and am conscious of facial tanning creams coming out a different colour/tone, I don't know what to do! Stopping at the neckline however isn't ideal either because once the foundation is off, I will have a tan line around my neck (and the tan lasts for a fair few days). Please help :) thanks

Dizziness & Unclear Vision?

Yesterday when I got out of the shower I started drying off and then I start feeling dizzy and weak. So I head for the kitchen to get a glass of water hoping it would help. On my way there it gets worse and worse. Once I get the glass I head towards a chair cuz Im weak. Then my vision get funky. Like you know the dots you see when you look at the sun? Yeah, well I had these all over my sight. And I feel like im going to faint. I get to the chair sit down and drink and like 30 seconds later it disapeers. After its gone I shake like crazy and can hardly walk cause my legs r weak. Its been happening about once a month for about 7 months now. (Every single time was after a shower.) And now its getting worse and worse and happening about once a week. What does this sound like to you?

Is this a safe way to be tanning?

I put on sun screen (SPF 30) and I went outside and layed down on my back so my front was exposed to the sun. I stayed like that for 30 minutes and then I layed on my stomach and exposed my back for 30 minutes. Is this safe to do everyday? Its my birthday next week yet my mum turned around and told me she forgot about it so she hasn't ordered my cake, then she tells me im not getting anything for my birthday so not to expect anything but then she goes and spends 200 pound on my older sister coz she wanted new clothes. My teacher invented a new game for our class earlier this morning. It's called Gotcha. Each person gets assigned a target which she cannot tell. ok so on gears 2 i wanted to get the rank 100 because i had realised that i was never gonna reach rank 100 unless i had no life, anyway i donwloaded a gamesave and it unlocked rank 100 but also a few other achievements seriously 2.0 and completionist but no pack rat. it unlocked around 400 gamerscore so i then completed the game to make it look less suspicios and let it drop to the bottom of my games list and also my privacy setting is set to friends only for game history. upto now it has been about 3 months but i am just hoping that microsoft will overlook this just because it is such a minority and you can hardly tell. i did not intend to unlock those achievements and also i cannot undo it. is there anyone out there who has anything similar to this and has not yet had there gamerscore rubbed out by microsofts gamerscore rubber-outer

You need to go to the doctor you shouldn't bleed that much. Also exercise and running will make your period lighter. Tampons don't hurt you just have to know how to use them. I doubt you bleed as much as you say. And you can just tell your friends your on your period. Your period is only a week long do you can go swimming after that

I hardly ever gain weight, like I eat a lot but I dont gain much weight. Plus I lose weight when I'm stressed and lately I've been very stressed. Oh my gosh. I've had blond hair my whole life and i just dyed it light brown. I used Loreal Healthy Look Creme Gloss Color in Medium Brown ( Number 6 ). My grandson and his parents-should I just butt out?

My grandson will be 2 in mid-July. My son and daughter-in-law do not live close to us so we see them 3-4 times a year. This past week they came home for an important family gathering and I am disturbed at my grandsons progress or lack of as far as communication. My son and his wife are WONDERFUL parents, but I am wondering if they are too doting. My grandson points and they jump-- he throws temper tantrums when he doesn't get his own way and they do nothing about it. He speaks very little although I know he can as when it is just him and I-he will talk up a storm. My husband and I babysat one night while they went out with some friends and it took me a while, but we finally had him running around-playing and rolling around outside. He was having a ball. He got dirty like I have never seen him (which is really not allowed by my DIL at all) and went to bed without issue and slept all night long. They picked him up in the morning and he was winey and moody all over again. They live in a very warm area, where it gets pretty miserable outside--so they stay in the house alot. They watch tv quite a bit and since they work alot (she a restaurant manager and he owns his own consturction company), he is at the sitters alot of the time. He is as smart as a whip--I do not believe for one minute he isn't able to do all the things a 2 year old should do, he just doesnt' when his parents are around and they don't make him. They have just entered him into a new daycare/nursery school that I think will benefit him greatly--playing with other kids and having to speak etc. I wish he lived closer so he could spend more time with us (we live on a farm and he LOVES the animals) but that is not possible. The stories I hear from my DIL about her upbringing, her parents were very, very strict, bordering on cruel (opne side of the story I know) my son was disciplined and to be honest once he got past about 7-8 years, I hardly ever had to discipline him, he had a good solid basis of right and wrong. They are both loving parents and I know they believe they are doing the right thing and only want whats best but sometimes I think they are too laid back with him. So do I keep my mouth shut or do I say something to my son/DIL? The not discipling is the part that really concerns me. They have to have a good solid base or they get out of hand as they get older.

My Girlfriend has a very weird habit (animal noises)?

Are some cultures less offended by skin whitening than others?

I am multiracial(1/2 white, 1/2 black/native mix) so my skin darkens easily. I prefer to keep my skin on the lighter side and I use lots of sunscreen and whitening products(soap). Most of my white and asian(east indian) friends don't think too much of it most of my east indian friends use some type of whitening soap or cream, and I see it like tanning. There is only so light or dark one can get, so I think it is just a beauty procedure. However, a lot of black people seem to think it's worse than killing someone. Some black people have even taken offense to it saying "you are already light, so you must think I am ugly". When I had a youtube channel some people even insulted me for reviewing whitening products. Are these people just overly-sensitive? Or do some cultures view skin whitening as offensive?

How to reinstall OS after replacing mother board?

Hi, I got my mother board replaced from Lenovo service centre. Now the Laptop is turning on and shows the options MENU to select any of the OS. "Earlier version or Win 7". But there is no reaction after selecting any of them .The service centre agent advised me to reinstall OS and check the Laptop. Now how do I reinstall or is there any other solution to dis and can I install XP first and recover my data which was earlier in the Win7 drive as I had dual OS from the beginning. I dont know about dual booting so I will I have to again create partition? or just simply install one by one both the OS. Please tell me in detailed steps the procedure to install. Am I pregnant or having pms symtoms?

My 3 year old GSD wont eat?

We bought a German Shepherd ***** about 6-7 weeks ago. The previous owner used to leave her food down all day and we realised this was why she was so underweight. We took her to Pets at Home and they put her on Wainwrights which is just brown kibble biscuits. At first she loved it but then after a few weeks hardly touched it. She'd spit it out and leave it. As a result and us not wanting her to lose the weight she's put on we tried mixing fresh tripe with it. Again, she loved it and cleared her bowl several times. However after a bit god bored of the tripe and wouldnt touch it. We then tried wet food mixed and as before, she loved it. We carried this on several times but then reealised she would only eat the wet food. Now she wont touch her food bowl unless there is a full pouch or full can of wet food in there. She will eat the odd biscuit. Yesterday we bought her a different make of food (Bakers Complete as it looks way more appetising) and she loved the first bowl we gave her. She couldn't get enough of it. But this morning i've found when i gave it her at her routine time (1pm) She wouldnt touch it and went to sleep instead. So again, i mixed half a pouch of wet food in and she ate a few biscuits and walked away. So i decided to put the full pouch of food in. She's eaten half of it and left it, so i've now put it away in the cupboard as she's had too long to eat it and if she doesn't eat her dinner within half an hour to an hour we take it away as we are trying to get her into a routine! please help!!!!!!

i've had some problems with taking the pill so i stopped taking it. My periods never used to be regular but after stopping the pill i'm usually just one day in advance on my period or a day late but nothing major.Then i was one week late on my period (should have came been on the 8th May) and then on the 12th of may i got a brown discharge that lasted for about 3-4 days then i took a pregnancy test and it was negative! It could be just a defective screen. Depending on how much shipping costs I would send it back. The reason being that you do not want to end up with a laptop screen that doesn't work at all. If the laptop is brand new then I would have an intense conversation with Tiger Direct on why they can't pay the shipping to return the product. If you are having them professionally printed, you need to convert all colors to CMYK. RGB is for web use. Your brightest red you can print is 0 cyan 100 magenta , 100 yellow. and 0 black.

Help please with brown skin pigmentation?

There is a middle dip above the actual lip that kinda folds within the center above the lip. Well, in the center it appears to be darkened. The shape is a circle.This area is smaller than a pencil eraser but it shadows a lot, making it more prominent. It is a flat brown area that looks like a birthmark or hyper pigmentation. I've never had this before and suddenly appeared over 3 months ago. It is just a flat light to medium brown spot. I don't know if that could have caused my problem. Whatever it is, will not go away and it bothers me a lot. I'd just turned 15 yrs old; also, i have very pale skin so this pigmentation stands out. Why is my hamster lethargic?

I just got my hamster Moo and so far, all he's been doing is sleeping in his cage.
