My kitten has black and pink paws?

It's common in bi-colored or tri-colored cats. What I mean by a bi-colored cat is one that has tabby or black and white fur while a tri-colored cat has three distinct colors. The most common example of that is a calico. A bi-colored cat can also include orange and white cats but their paw pads are pink. The dark pads are a part of their darker coloring while the pink pads are a part of their white fur. I have a tortoiseshell cat that has a mix of pink and black on her pads. Her whiskers are mixed black and white. Her mouth is pink inside but has a big black splotch on the roof of it.
